Nepal is one of the few places on earth that is home to both the Bengal Tiger and One-horned Rhinoceros

Nepal is called Amazon of Asia: More than 900 species of birds, 4.2% of the worlds butterfly species and 4% of the worlds mammal species.

Mt Everest in Nepali language is ‘Sagarmatha’ which means “Forehead of the sky” and it stands at 29,029 ft (8,848 meters).

The Nepali flag is one of the only national flags that is non- quadrilateral. The two triangles symbolize the Himalaya Mountains and represent the two major religions; Hinduism and Buddhism.

Traditionally people in Nepal eat with their hands, but not with

their left hand.

Nepal has never been colonized. It is protected by Gurkhas, the famous and bravest warriors of the world.
