• To secure a Karuna Project trip, the Group must accept the Terms & Conditions, sign the Karuna Project Liability Waiver, and pay the deposit associated with the trip. 

• Booking is not completed until Karuna Project confirms receipt of the deposit. The deposit is required to secure the trip, triggering the Karuna Project to start planning. Failure to provide a deposit may result in losing your desired trip dates.

• The Group must pay the full trip price by 90 days before the Trip Start Date. Failure to pay the full trip price may result in losing your desired trip dates.

• Groups who cancel more than 90 days before the Trip Start Date will receive a refund of all money paid towards the trip, minus a $1500 administration fee. 

• The Deposit becomes non-refundable 90 days before the Trip Start Date. Groups who cancel between 90 and 30 days before the Trip Start Date will lose their deposit but receive a refund of 50% of all other money paid for the trip. During this timeframe, nonrefundable payouts are made to our destination travel partners for tours, accommodation, travel costs, etc. 

• All payments become non-refundable 30 days before the Trip Date.

Formally documented family or medical emergency-related cancelations will be worked with on a case-by-case basis where possible.
