When we think of Yoga and Adventure, it is hard to imagine a better classroom and environment than the beautiful country of Nepal. The spirituality of the Nepali people, the fantastic ayurvedic cuisine, and the breathtaking Himalayan mountains foster a perfect setting for deepening our self-care and spirituality, learning yoga, breath, and meditation practices, and integrating them into our daily lives. 

Throughout the trek days, Monica will teach and facilitate different aspects of yoga. There is more to yoga than “postures,” so to feel energized and prepared for all of our adventures and dedicated service, there will be a strong focus on powerful breath techniques, meditation, inspiring yoga sequences, and mantras that are part of the culture we will be immersed in.

Visit Kakani Village, where the Karuna Project supports community development. The current project is a water-filtration system installation at the secondary school.
